WKFTB highlights and supports all local talent. Whether it's the Lauzon brothers, Wambo, Brett Anthony or Mark Margirit doing the Ch. 7 weather, we love when our dudes succeed.

The first video that comes up, Appetence, is done by a school called The Factory with special effects/makeup done by Blood First Blood Only, a group consisting of two local dudes. The winning filmmaker receives a trip out to some Hollywood horror thing, so check out the vid (it's pretty good) and give it your vote. It's already made it to Top 10 our of 100.

Oh, and you may recognize a certain spikey haired chunko in it.

The second thing we need to talk about is the Sept. 25 Fox High School Friday. FOX will highlight and tape one HS football game that night and it's down to either Plymouth North-Silver Lake or East Bridgewater-Mashpee. We have a lot of EB people as our core base of readers, so show your support.

EB's Newest Star?

We already have Tom Everett Scott (fake), the Lauzon brothers, Dan and Joe, Wambo and let's not forget Brett Anthony. East Bridgewater's newest celeb? Maybe Mark Margarit??

I vaguely remember this dude, but he's an EB grad ('00) and played on the soccer team his senior year when I was a freshman. He's the weekend weather guy for Channel 7. Was dece blown away when I saw it. Pretty sure he must have taken speech At the Unviersity of Albany, because he was shyest. Now he's live on air. Can't hold EB down...
