It's Friday

And yet I still have to work. Sadly my Summer days are over and I am back to being a work slave at the U for one last year before I decide to become a grown-up and get a real job. Working on Friday's, especially into the night like I have to do are so depressing aren't they? I'd rather have someone dropkick me in the balls...but anyways here are my thoughts for this fine Friday morning.

Where the HELL has Erin Andrews been??? Am I not watching enough TV or something or is she just not around that much since the whole peep hole thing. Erin, I don't know if you pay attention to how the celebrity world works but once your sex tape or peep hole tape comes out your supposed to be right in the public eye so you can boost your career. I thought that was known fact....once this blog goes big time I'm going to leak 3 sextapes AND a peep hole video. Stay tuned ladies... ;-)

Here is a nice Katy Perry remix to Waking up In Vegas which I posted a few weeks ago...dedicated to Brett Favre. Williams' BOYYYYYY.

OK yah I know it's not Katy Perry.....but this picture below is. She looks...Uhm...SMART.

That's all for now everyone...enjoy your weekend ya bunch of broke ass biiiiitches.

Opposite Ends of the Spectrum

When you are confronted on a daily basis with athletes who dominate the news on all fronts, your opinion can go two ways: sick of them or love them.

I love this dude:

I don't think I could ever get sick of SHAQ and his little antics. He's a beast on the court, on twitter, in entertainment and life in general.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is Brett Favre. Jake and Jared's boy finally hung it up (again) today. I don't even need to tell you how sick I am of this. Because by this point, even Brett's staunchest supporters are sick of this little back and forth game. I respect you as a player Brett, you were a gamer, a good teammate and a pretty good guy. You had a cannon arm and always wanted to win. It's not your fault you were slurped by the media and turned into some type of deity. These are the nicest things I'll ever say about you. No please, pleasssseee, stay away, bro.

-Also, on an unrelated note, you need to see Alfonso Soriano's celebration after hitting a walkoff grand slam last night. Guy did about 3-4 different celebrations., including the vaunted "hand over the face can't see me," and took forev to round the bases. Since MLB is chooch about footage, you can't see him absolutely pimp it, chill in the box, point to the dugout and flip the bat. all of that is on ESPN's footage. But, you can still catch the end of the celebration on the Cubbie's MLB site.

Which Line is Longer?

I know you've seen this lil photo countless times on the Internet, including but not limited to, mp3 downloading sites, search engines and any place there are Google ads.

It goes something like this:

Question: Which line is longer?

Answer: They are the fucking same you douche bag. I get it...there are triangles going different ways at the ends. Why don't you ask me a real question and stop trying to fucking trick me. Because it almost worked. Kiddin. But c'mon bro, don't act like this is some psychological shit. It just tricks people who don't hold "line" to it's proper definition during everyday life, which is about 95% of the earth.

Other stuff pissing me off on this beautiful Monday:

Brett Favre. Oh shit, breaking news:
Favre also warned the Vikings representatives that he might be forced to delay a decision on whether to play until just before the team opens training camp on July 29 in Mankato, Minn.

In other words: Brett's just gonna let your coaches, current QBs and fans sweat it out while he takes another few weeks to decide. Don't worry about it. What, the NFL is a multi-million dollar industry followed by die hard fans? Ehhh..Brett is more important to that. In his mind at least. If I'm the Vikes, I'm saying slayta tahd.

Magic Johnson. Yea, Michael Jackson made you a better point guard? This was something he said last week at the memorial, but i didn't wanna bring it up until that day itself got its due. Now...it's time. If you haven't seen Magic's speech, here it is, highlighted by a KFC story and the comment above:

Yea, dude? C'mon bro that didn't even make sense.

John Gosselin. Not only am I so sick of you and that biatch soon-to-be-ex-wife of yours, Kate, but now here you go acting all bro, rocking this sweet graphic T.

You're a dad of like 425495 kids and everyone knows you aren't that ill. Maybe stick to a collared.

-I'll leave you with this ill picture from Pacman Jones' infamous night at a Las Vegas strip club. Make it rain on them hoes...

So Sick of...Brett Favre

(Every day this week, WKFTB will bring you someone we are sick of hearing/watching/existing. This is Thursday's edition.)

OK, enough with this guy. Anyone who knows me knows I have an embedded distain for this grey-bearded, INT-bomber. In fact, the other two WKFTB members used to be adamant supporters of Uncle Brett, but I don’t even think they would come to his defense now.

The good-ole-boy gushing media are even starting to turn on Favre now. Let’s face it, everyone is getting sick of him. At least when Jordan came back, he just announced it and came back. Plus he pretty much owned the team during his second comeback with Washington (such a weird thing now that you think about it, isn’t it?).

But with Brett we get the same thing everyyyy year: a retirement statement, tears, a rogue report saying his working out, then a wishy-washy offseason of Brett Watch – Will He or Won’t He?

We’re all tired of it. He’s not even that good anymore, as evidenced by his horrible performance down the stretch last season. Well, except that game against the Pats. Thanks, bro!

We even get reports now on deadlines for the aging quarterback to return, followed by reports saying that, well, there is no deadline. Hell, there was even a “news” story on ESPN.com saying that members of Favre’s family bought a bunch of hotel rooms in Green Bay for a winter weekend. Who’s in town that weekend? The Vikings!

And we’re about a week away from a Peter King exclusive where Brett says he’s coming back to play for Minnesota to help stick it to the Packers. Only will Minny even want him by then? Brad Childress has already made it clear in his recent remarks to the media that he wants his QB, his team leader, whether it’s Sage, Tavaris or Brett, to be in attendance at mini-camps. Will they wait to see if Brett decides he wants to play again?

Or will Brett try to hold another team hostage for as long as possible, keeping his legendary cloud hanging above the heads of the other two Viking QBs, not to mention their offensive coordinators, the receivers, the O-Line and the fans?

How can an NFL team legitimately prepare for the season with the prospect of a dramatic change in personal at the most important position on the field? This is why the Packers cut bait, as cold as it may have seemed at the time. And this is why the fans – the Green Bay fans who named kids after him, still relish his jerseys and probably would chop of a hand to have a beer with him – are starting to turn on him. Well, that and the fact that he might go play for their fiercest rival. But will he come back?

Only time with tell. And if there’s one thing Brett Favre loves the most, it’s wasting your time.
