Ya know, a lot of people think Tony Romo is a chooch. I would be one of those people althouth I can't really put my finger on why I think that way....maybe it's his shit eating grin that he always has or something. Anyways is this Romo video funny? I think the Eminem part is dece at least. (DISCLAIMER...If this video won't load you can click on the small link right below the video that says Tony Romo Product Spokesman and it will take you to a page that will work)
I was watching the MLB celebrity softball game the other night with the blogfathers and we were all talking about how ill the Rock N Jock games were on MTV. Why'd they ever get rid of those things!? Were they too fire? Too many people loved them?? Well if you miss them as much as I do then you will have no problem going HERE and signging this petition to bring them back.
Is the slit dress look hot to anyone else or just me? I will tell you right now why I think it's hot, because it gives me the illusion that I can put my hand in the slit and rip the dress right off in a heat of passion....anyone else? No? Didn't think so.
And one last thing, as we've all mentioned this week the blog saw Asher Roth and Kid Cudi Tuesday night and Ash killed it. So as we look forward to a weekend full of partying please jam to this song as I have been for the last few days.
Alright like I said before...I'm still up in the air on Asher and I know we have been showing him some love lately...but this is BY FAR my favorite actual song I've heard from him. Off his upcoming album Asleep in the Bread Aisle which hits store next Monday...
Asher Roth - "La Di Da"
Busta Rhymes feat. Estelle - "World Go Round" This is a request from Nick...I usually try not to throw Busta in here becauase I don't think anyone (but me) still feels him. But this at least fulfills the party song that I usually throw in here every week....
And since no one else has touched on it how about Beckett yesterday...wooooooooooo. Guy is a maniac on the mound and I really do love it....but if I was on that other bench I am probably reacting the same way. Just funny to me that Beckett throws a 95 mph heater at Abreu's head and then 4 dudes on the Angels get tossed...feel like the umps mighta F'd that one up.
Asher Roth feat. Beanie Siegel and Rock City - "Perfectionist" I honestly want to know what people think of this one....I'm kinda feeling it. And I'm not even a big Asher Roth dude
Just a little background info on the post below this...first of all
WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Did Wam just rip up Asher? Here is Asher on Cannon...
If you don't follow what is going on....Our boy Wambo put out an album called Greenhouse effect about a year and a half ago, close to two years actually. Then this past summer Asher Roth puts out a mixtape called Greenhouse effect. Both dudes are White Jewish Rappers....probably a coincidence...maybe.
Anways, Wam got at Asher and his manager about the issue and wanted to see what was good....bottom line, they iced him. That's where the diss is from. If you have no idea what I'm talking about watch the post below.
Not sure how I missed this but our local white rapper Wambo put out an Asher Roth diss and its pretty much fire. "Nicest white boy on the mike, and me and Em sound nothin alike". The backstory is that Wambo found out another kid with his same schtick (Jewish kid from the suburbs) named Asher Roth put out an album called Greenhouse Effect, the same name as Wam's last album. Well since Roth's album was produced by DJ Drama and Don Cannon, it probably wasn't a ripoff, but it still caused a riff because Wam is as talented as Roth, but now you can catch the first youtube I'm gonna post in a second on MTV or Jamn 94.5. (If this doesn't make any sense than I'll edit it tomorrow but I just pounded beers after work and its 1:19 AM on Fri night so give me a break). Anyway I'll get to the point. I'm posting 2 video's. The first one is Asher Roth's (Em Lite's) new hit "college" and the second is East Bridgewater's own, Wambo's, Asher Roth diss song. Check it out.
Wambo - Asher Roth Diss
Also, I know its off topic but peep this Kid Cudi clip, ridiculous freestyle. Search for our boy Charles Hamilton's freestyles if you like this kind of stuff but I just ran across this one and felt like it needed to be posted, too good. "I am pac-man".
So here it goes folks....my first attempt at blogging. I gotta be real with you, I have no real plans for this shit. I guess for now I'm just out here winging it, but hey ya gotta start somewhere right? I can already tell that I'm gunna be real rough around the edges, and you'll have to excuse my spelling on here because most likely I'm going to just type how I talk and not be too proper. But if your looking for that proper shit this is probably the wrong spot for you anyways. Anyways, if you can't tell by the title I am in fact a white dude from the Burbs. I guess the title may be misleading because I guess being 24 years old does not make me a kid anymore. I'm heavy into hip-hop, and probably spend way too much of my free time listening to, and downloading music. Right now I gotta give a shout to Charles Hamilton man. I was just on his blog for a couple of hours trying to catch up on what he's been writing and the shit is incredible. If you haven't already you gotta head to his blog http://www.charleshamilton.blogspot.com/. I don't know if that is going to link you to it or not because like I said I'm green at this blog stuff, but yah check it out. While I'm on Charles Hamilton, if you don't know him, youtube him PLEASE. Especially if your into hip-hop, because the dude has a bright future. Below is his video for the song Brooklyn Girl. Check the shit out cuz its flames....
Yeahhhhh you know I wouldn't steer you wrong....or maybe you don't....yet. Some other dudes that I'm feeling right now that you might have slept on a little bit are Ca$his (rolls with Slim Shady and Interscope), and Joe Budden. For now I'm going to try and stop myself from putting maddddd videos in here but here is some shit from each of them that I'm on right now....
Cashis - Never Enough
Joe Budden - Just to be different
Man Joe Budden has been around forever....can't figure out why he hasn't blown up yet. Maybe I'm the only one feeling him, but I think he has skill. See I have a problem in that I think that because I listen to rap so much that I really KNOW it...like my opinions are truth. Obviously that is not the case so your just going to have to deal with that for now.
Moving on...but STILL staying on that hip-hop shit...have you heard Asher Roth? I can't even pretend like dude doesn't have skill because he does, but DAMN, if your a white rapper why would you want to sound and rhyme just like Eminem? Seperate yourself man....If you haven't heard him already check this out.
Asher Roth - Cannon freestyle
Like I said, the dude can spit. Just sounds too much like Em on most of his shit....I'm not hating, just saying.
The hip-hop game is crazy right now by the way. I know it went through a small "Hip-hop is dead" phase but the shits rebounding like crazy. There are dumbbbbb amounts of new music out right now. I'm talking from new mixtape shit, right through maintstream albums. Going back to the beginning of Summer (shit just thinking on that warm weather depresses me) we've seen albums from Lil Wayne, TI, The Game, Kanye, Ludacris, G-Unit, and Young Jeezy. Those are some monsters, and rumored to be on the way soon are albums from Jay-Z and 50....and rumored for the last like 5 years Dr. Dre, and even Eminem.
How is everyone feeling about 50 these days anyways? Is he played out? Did he sell out? One things for sure he's not the same dude that put out Get Rich or Die Trying...that album was hardddd man. I bumped that for months man...the song HEAT had me just looking for someone to beef with. But anyways I'm just rambling now...hopefully I will be able to get on here sometime later today and get some more thoughts out. I hope this was entertaining for at least one person other than myself....ONE.
